Sugaring originated back in ancient Egypt and Greece, as early as 1900 BC. Not having the convenience of modern day showers, they found it easier to keep themselves clean by removing all their hair!

The sugar paste contains only 3 all-natural ingredients, sugar, lemon juice and water, making it a great option for people with sensitive skin. It is applied at room temperature, so no chance of burning!

Sugar paste is moulded on to your skin, and flicked off taking dead skin and the unwanted hair with it. The way sugar is applied also leads to less hair breakage, and helps reduce the risk of in grown hairs. Sugar also has a lubricating effect which helps hair come out easier, meaning less pain during your appointment. Because it doesn't adhere to live skin cells, it leads to a better experience, and less skin sensitivity after your appointment!

A new glove is used every time I reach into the sugar pot, meaning no chance of cross-contamination making it a more sanitary process than waxing.

Keeping up with hair removal appointments will cause the hair to grow back finer and more diminished. It may also lead to permanent hair loss over time.
All products I use are professional only, paraben-free, and contain only therapy-grade essential oils.

I have been sugaring with Michelle for close to a year, she is such a personable and compassionate professional.
She provided sugaring services all throughmy second pregnancy as well, she has a comfortable and very clean salon room. More sterile than any spa I have visited, as sugaring never recycles any products
and no ‘double dipping’ as there’s no applicator sticks. I highly recommend sugaring over waxing any day! Less painful. Less ingrowns. Very clean process and easy to remove excess with some warm water (it’s just sugar!). Thanks Michelle for being my go-to!
